Warm and Fuzzy
This is one of my absolute favorite reverbs. I am addicted to the warm sound of classic analog gear. I find myself reaching for this thing on a daily basis. You just cant beat the sound of a Plate verb in my opinion. Nice and warm. Experiment with it and you can create some awesome space for your source material. Outstanding plugin!

Great plate!
This is the best plugin version of a plate I've heard — has that rattle and shimmer like the real ones! Lots of harmonic content and three dimensional spread. I like it!

Can't believe I didn't buy this earlier
Sometimes, simplicity is what you want. I'm not sayin this box sounds simple, but it's simple to use! The quality of UAD is the highest available in digiland. This plug is no exception.
I already had Lex 224 and was looking for a reverb that wasn't quite as obvious or metallic sounding. I love my Lex 224 and it gets used all the time. It's just I do a lot of acoustic music and sometimes you want something a little less obvious, a little more transparent. The EMT 250 does that in a clear, beautiful way.
I love how easy it is to dial in the timing of the verb, and the filters are simple to get a good sound fast as well. The tone is, in a sentence, spacious without taking over a mix. Very clean, and gels everything together wonderfully.

Great reverb plugin
The EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverberator is the best reverb plugin I used. Very good for drums and also vocals.

use:
- Vocals, constantly, main vocal reverb on mixing
- Drums (Snare, Toms) sometimes can not replace fungible emt 140 :))
- Heard well in the mix but nothing prevents
- Gives a good volume but does not slide into the background vocals
- Very good effects of the additional - chorus and delay!
Bought after testing, replace than others failed.
still waiting for a discount coupon and buy a EMT 140 :))

Went Right to Work !!!!!
I put the plugin right to work on one of the songs due to be released on my next project, and it will see more action. Quite smooth and it gives people like me that sometimes want a good ambient vibe, not an obtrusive reverb that becomes bothersome. And I must add the latter statement is relative to the song, some songs I may want more. Thanks again UAD, you guys are constant guests in my studio!!!

Honestly a great reverb!
Concernig reverbs I should admit that I'm spoiled by my hardware reverbs Lexicon 300, Eventide DSP-4000 and RSP Intelliverb. But this plugin nails the plate sound. It sounds very smooth and hardware like and closes the gap between my warm sounding Lexicon 300 and my crisp sounding DSP-4000. The UAD EMT-250 is very beautiful on vocals and percussion and on synths too. Great job guys...5 stars!

Used in all my mixes
This reverb immediately found a place in my mixing template. The biggest difference is how quickly I can get inspiring sounds from it. By far the most convincing plate reverb plugin I have ever heard and I don't know what I would do without it. You can add just a touch of depth to drums, create a smoky atmosphere for a lead vocal to sit in, or drench a surfy guitar.

I used to use the hardware version back at Sigma NYC in the '80s. I am amazed at the true replication of the EMT "sound" in this plug-in. UA nailed it! Not surprising.
UA's plug-ins have not disappointed me yet! And it's so nice to have an "old friend" like the EMT 250 back at my disposal.
A suggestion for upcoming releases: Telefunken V76 mic pre-amp. The best mic pre I have ever owned or used! I love the API Vision, Neve 1073 and UA 610's -- the Telefunken would be a welcome edition.

Excellent but...
Like most of the stuff from UD. Too bad those guys didn't find a way to make us able to simply get rid of the plug ins we don't use, This would be elegant, And a time saver...

Five Stars all the Way! Get this now!
Absolutely the best reverb I have used. I have the Lexicon 224, EMT140, RVerb, etc. This is easy to use and sounds incredible. Just put in on any track or mix bus and it sounds great. Easy to adjust and sits in the mix well.

Just turn the knob and it does the rest. It blends in well with a mix and provides glue. Highly recommended.
