Love the Cambridge EQ
The Cambridge EQ is a very nice sounding EQ which i love for his clean sound and steep filters. Its not modelled after a specific unit and is a digital EQ but does not sound harsh if you boost it a lot. The colorful GUI design and functionality is just great and very intuitiv. The filters sound really musical but you can go steep enough to use them for special effects.It is also very CPU friendly which is perfect for doing all the basic EQ work in the mix. The Oxford EQ was the one i used a lot before i bought the cambridge EQ. Sorry Sonnox i guess i have a new favourite... :-)

Good Sound - Great Flexibility
Great multi low and high cut filters, much more of a simple eq.
I like its sound because it isn't cold compared to other.
Increase the "character" of the sound.
Flexible and multifunctional - I use it with all !

Great EQ!
I've got a lot of eq's but this is my go to for surgical stuff. It's clean and very transparent.

EQ is very good
The EQ is very good, in the digital EQ inside this is absolutely in the upper level. If you can get rid of the low frequency in turbidity is better. In short, the EQ is a good cost-effective EQ.

Nice EQ
This is a very good EQ, nice & smooth. One of my favorite parts of this EQ is the filters. They have very steep slopes, which are great for carving out space in the mix for your instrument.

baller EQ for the price
A nice little tool with a good array of low/high pass types and is smooth and transparent when at null settings. My only improvement would be a live spectrum/spectrogram on the display so you could watch yourself sculpt the sound.

Dope EQ!
Well i got the cambridge and I may not be doing something right but I love how ridiculously sharp/low of "Q" i can get on the waves REQ and the cambridge cant qive me that razor precision sharp Q im looking for.... :/ Great EQ but im disappointed in the Q aspect.

I love this plugin, but...
The only thing I don't like about it is the interface. I would love it if UAD remade the interface.
Other than that, it does everything I want from a surgical EQ.

Siempre comienzo insertando el Cambridge para los paso altos y filtros correctivos en mis pistas. Lo único que pienso que podría mejorar es que las bandas de frecuencia pudieran barrer todo el espectro libremente.

The different behaviour types really help work flow and the filter slopes are also the most versatile i've found.
It would have been helpful to have a frequency analyser incorporated and feel its not completely transparent however a great sounding workhorse EQ which can get surgical and add musical colour to your mixes.

Great eq with low dsp usage
Demoed this plug in cause it was used in a mix I was doing, ended up purchasing it cause it has such low dsp but sounds great like my oxford plug in. Now I use this in places I would use an oxford eq or pt eq 7.

very nice
I needed a simple EQ.
Stock EQ plugins that came with my DAWs are totally fine.
I am not sure if Cambridge EQ stands up out of stock EQs.
But since I have Apollo and I needed an EQ that I can monitor
through console, I bought it.

Great Surgeory
Super versatile, doesn't use a lot of processing, and I think it does audio surgeory better than most other grapic EQ's. I don't like boosting with it though. But I love it for taking away problems or clearing space.
I wouldn't say its a "must have", but if it's on sale, i'd get it.

Solid EQ
Good, easy to use EQ. Transparent and musical. Honesty, it's not a complicated plugin. I wish the look of the thing was a bit more attractive. The graphics get fuzzy. It would be nice if it came with a few more presets to help get a track started, but other that, it's cool.

Sweet EQ
I love how surgical this EQ can be. The different bandwidth selections are worth the price alone. I love how you can do multiple EQ settings and A/B them.

Nice precise and warm sounding eq.
I really like that eq. It's very precise and has a warm character. I also like the Pultec Pro eq which has a sound that I like more, but it's not that precisely. So for me, this eq is a good addition to my pultec.

This eq as a little lack of Q(the Q parameter could be set higher ) in my opignon but it just sound better than any para eq plug i have ever heard.
So i use it on soft equalisation i just sound great .
In other case i equalize with a more Q intensive eq(to more quickly check witch frequency is overpowered or underpowered) and then i just put the final setting on the cambridge and it sound great,always better than the other Q intensive plug i have(channel eq logic most of time).
Why it sound better ?i really can t explain this,but i d say that it detroy the sound less than channel eq does,it seems like it keeps the natural sounding present.
