Fantastic
Much better than my previous apogee quartet at least the preamp are much more transparent. A bit surprised by the low latency with thunderbolt, not much faster than USB. Love the hi-z input

Solid build, super sound
Awesome piece of kit, can’t say enough good things about it. One drawback at this price point is lack of midi and not including a thunderbolt cable. If it weren’t for those 2 things I would rate this piece 5/5 stars.

Great Interface...
Having just aquired this interface i must admir i’m inpressed by quality of borg sound and The feel of the knobs etc.
The Sound is so transparent and very well defined!
But i must admit that i miss another Thunderbolt port and a supplied cable. It wouldn’t have costed much

(Almost) perfection
Okay. This is some serious stuff! High quality in every kind of way. High quality build, high sound quality, great interfaces, great plugins. We all know this!
So why 4 of 5 stars?
1. The price. The interface is expensive. However; have in mind that if you want loads of plugins you might have to spend the same amount of money as you initally did on the interface as a such. Very few plugins are included. So if you buy the interface for the plugins... have this in mind.
2. The DSP sort of... sucks. The whole "this interface has a quad CPU built in, blaha blaha" sounds quite good. But is it? Well... one Unison plugin + 1 or 2 regular ones (e.g. a compressor and a EQ) and you're screwed. And also, you cannot change the CPU source for the plugins, e.g. spending 50% of the required CPU from the interface and the rest from the computers. So... a lot of exporting channel by channel in my DAW, to save DSP power. Sadly.
3. No Thunderbolt cable included. Seriously?

I have been using UAD products for almost ten years now. Started off with a lowly Solo Laptop card loaded with EMT250, Harrison 32C and a 2007 MBP. When Apollo duos were introduced, I jumped ship immediately after getting a thunderbolt equipped MBP and found my new go-to audiointerface. the unit served me without a hiccup. Then I got the opportunity to get a twin quad when the mk II was announced, but hesitated since I was already pretty cozy with my twin duo. Having now finally upgraded to twin quad mk II, I find being even happier with the apollo! My DAW projects now run @ ~5-15% CPU with the aid of the grunt in DSP the quad affords.
A word regarding conversion sound quality. I am hearing a slight, but not a significant improvement, so even mk I owners can rest easy and not obsess over any change in sound q (however YMMV). Your apollo mk I’s still sound pretty much the same.
I’ll probably upgrade to mk III if such line ever comes out. The Apollos work solid and give me what I am looking for in an audiointerface.

The Quality!!!!!
I love the neve plug most even though i love them all. The sound id outstanding. The Only thing Im very very sad and to be honest disapointed is that it lacks power. I mean at this price level i thought i should be able to use My plugs more, but after quite few instansens Im out of power.
I have them Only on line in now....Thank god i use cuabase so i can work around this but Im very sad. :(

Awesome sounds, but awkward routing.
A very powerful and complex interface with pretty nice plugins included. However, going beyond the basic inputs and outputs can be tough for anyone using a different DAW than the ones they use as examples in their manuals and videos. The manuals alone are daunting enough with hundreds of pages to plow through. I'm still trying to figure out how the Aux sends and Cues work with my DAW (Sonar). Also, the bewildering array of available plugins makes for hours of trial and error to find any that don't simply reproduce the sounds I already have. As a composer/singer/guitarist I hadn't planned on spending so much time going up the learning curve, but I will say it's been a rewarding experience for the most part.

Great Product, Still Working Out Kinks
Great product! Always heard nothing but good of the Apollo Twin and its counterparts. Still trying to get a hold of someone to help me work out some playback errors with my Windows ThunderBolt 3 system to eliminate clicks and pops and the occasional everything-nosedives-and-sounds-like-it-will-explode moments - which is hard to explain to clients sometimes... but once that's in order everything will be perfect

Game changer
I was having huge latency issues when recording using my previous interface, so after reading countless reviews I took the plunge and ordered an Apollo. Wow. Recording vocals with this is a dream. No latency at all, excellent unison pre's, and a console that is easy to use and understand. The only con is that the plugins are so expensive. Otherwise you can't go wrong with this!

I like it
The color for mk2 is darker than mk1, and I absolutely love it. I feel that it is reliable and trusty. Just one thing I wish, lower the price of emulators. That's it. I recommend it.

Good
After using Focusrite for some time, I took a chance on this Apollo and the interface is a step forward in terms of sound quality and easy of use. The control software is one of the most intuitive I came across, and the signal path matrix is a huge benefit. Not related with the quality of the device itself - which is top - UA company is, however, annoying when it comes to try to sell their plugins. Are you desperate UA guys? Can't quite understand what is your core business, excellent audio interfaces or pieces of software? And speaking about pieces of software, the device should install JUST the authorised plugins. Not the whole bunch of non-authorised ones. This makes difficult to find the authorised ones on 3rd party software such as Ableton, Komplete or Maschine (I assume in others too, like Logic Pro, Cubase, etc...). In the end I gave up of using any of your "free" plugins because I simply don't have patience to go through the whole list and try to find the ones I'm authorised to use.

Отличный прибор, удобен в командировках
Пока мне не довелось использовать возможность записи, но остальной функционал очень порадовал. Четыре процессора на борту дали возможность достаточно спокойно работать с треками вне студии. Из минусов - отсутствие прямого подключения к USB-C, только через адаптер и конечно зависимость от блока питания, просто так в аэропорту теперь не подключить.

A (nearly) perfect Interface
This Interface has everything i need and sounds really good. The only thing is, that i miss a second thunderbolt-input. If this device is the last one in a chain, all the other devices must be powered on, thats impractical. Also a BNC-wordclock output would be very helpful, so you don't have to send clock-signals via ADAT.

The cherry on top
Love the Apollo Twin on the front end of my setup. With my Apollo 8P, and Apollo Quad, it puts the finishing touch on an already perfect system.

Better but not the best
I already had apollo twin duo silverface and apollo8p. Mk2 version has nice talkback feature, but i cant understand why they get rid of tap mute function. Finding which is the little mute button makes me annoying because silverface was way easier to mute.
