Neve 2254/E。80シリーズコンソールの心臓部
オリジナルのNeve80シリーズコンソールの重要な要素である2254リミッター/コンプレッサー・モジュールのクリーミーなダイナミクスは、何千枚ものヒットレコードで使用され、グループトラックや個々のトラックに重み、カラーを追加しました。Neve 2254 / Eは、ダイオードブリッジトポロジーを使用して、個別のコンプレッション回路とリミッティング回路を備えており、お好みのソースのダイナミクスをコントロールしながら“トーン”を加えるのに最適です。
入念なエミュレーション
UAのエンジニアチームは、当時の回路図とオリジナルのNeve80シリーズのサービスマニュアルを研究することにより、この貴重なイギリス製のキットの隅々までをキャプチャーしました。Neve 2254/E Limiter and Compressorプラグインは、オリジナルのハードウェアが持つ複雑なアンプ/フィルターの動作を忠実に再現し、個々のトラックやステレオバスに伝統的なNeveモジュールと同じカラフルでリッチなブリティッシュコンプレッションを提供します。さらに独立したL/Rパラメーターコントロールを備えたNeve 2254/E Dualを使用してステレオバスをさらに作り込むことができます。

I have many compression plugins, this gave me something new to use, it is unique and sounds great. I like the soft knee that I can get and how simple it is to use. I wish I had grabbed this one sooner.

Instant Glue
I always start a mix with the UAD SSL G-Bus to dial in my snare, and recently demoed the Neve. Right out the gate I got another flavor at the default setting. Brings the side image (for me guitars) to the front while preserving the snare transients. No guesswork here. Purchased it rather quickly!

Perfect compression combo
This bundle is the perfect combo. The 2254 adds weight and smooth compression to anything you put through it and the 33609 provides the perfect glue for any bus compression. Highly recommend!

So far i’ve only experimented with it. From what I hear from just fooling around and trying various settings I’m most certain that this will fit perfect in some of my tracks and mixes. Great add on to my plugin arsenal.
