It sounds great and the ambience program is one in a million.
This is not an ordinary reverb, its a character machine. I love it.

Almost like the real thing
The hardware piece used to live on Send 1 for me for 20 years. Just such awesome quality. I downloaded the demo, and as soon as I put a vocal through it, I went "damn, there it is, we're back!". When you have quality like the AMS and the Lex224, it's hard to go back to the other reverb plugins I've been using. Awesome job!!! -Arty Skye

It's lovely to dial in reverbs from some of the biggest recordings of all time. You instantly recognizes them in productions you've heard throughout your life. An amazing job by Universal Audio & Co. for making this spot on with the original unit. Dialing in your own custom verbs is a snap once you spend some quality time with your new friend on different parts and track idea Plus nothing could help more then reading the manual. This is the reverb you have always strived for but never knew how to make it happen

This is it... The sound of all my favorite eighties hits, but it doesn't overheat and freak out like the original! Seriously, I think UAD hit it out of the park with this one, and it works beautifully with my mixes, no matter what era they came from. It's great on drums as always, but the ambience program works really nicely on vocals and guitars, too. Well done!

Dense, beautiful, musical, clean, versatile, dozens of useful presets, stereo wide, natural! Different but as good as the L224, can not tell which is better. Just different. But it is my favorite now!

Wow, what a sound!
Because I already had all the other UAD-reverbs in my account, I thought "oh well, just another verb, I already have enough". I thought wrong.
The AMS Verb is in two words "instant character".
Whether you want ultra-wide slapbacks or dark alley vintage-ness, it's all there. And it sounds extremely good.
Together with the Lexicon-emulation, these two are my favorite reverbs to go to.
One minor comment is the GUI. I understand that this is an identical remake of the original hardware-unit, but I'm using this plugin with my mouse, not with real buttons. Therefore, a more user-friendly GUI would be nice for guys like me, who rather use a slider with the mouse instead of clicking on nudge-buttons.

Almost as good as the real thing
I've been looking for a decent-sounding reverb plug-in for 10 years and have tried most of the popular plug-ins, but the AMS RMX 16 is the first a good-sounding and versatile reverb that I've heard.
There seems to be a bug in one of the delay programs that puts a bit of unwanted reverb on the left channel, but aside from that, I'm very pleased with it.

Ok...amazing!
I have been waiting patiently for this plugin and now that it is finally here I can only say WOW. What an amazing sound from this plug in. I use this mainly for synth tracks and general ambience for specific tones.
It is flexible in this task and gives you a lot of different flavors. My biggest thumbs up is what this unit does to the tone and pan spread of sound sources. It deepens/warms the sound and the stereo spread is just audio bliss for my projects.

Worth the long wait
I have been wanting to own an AMS RMX16 for quite some time now, but the cost and fragility of these old units kept me away. So I was really hoping to get hold dog a plugin version and so when this was released I knew I had to own it.
All of my favourite records have RMX16 all over them, so it was with great expectations that I fired up my first mix, replaced the reverb with the RMX16 and listened.
Now I have never owned the real deal so can not comment on how close it is to the real unit, but what I can say is that the reverbs this plugin provides are excellent and sit in a mix extremely well.
The Ambience reverb is just perfect for vocals and guitars, it gives a nice space around the instrument or vocal with out drowning it. Recommen

What a useful tool. The chorus effects alone make it worth the price. I own other verb plug ins . This is magic.

AMS RMX16 - Just what I needed
Well, I used my coupon last month and bought the RMX16 and fell in love with this plugin. I've used it on drums, vocals, BV's, etc. It definitely brings back memories and seems to bring just the right touch to my projects. I have the 140, 250, Ocean Way and the 244, but I'm really diggin' the RMX. I give it a big thumbs up!
