Wow, what a fun space maker
Sounds amazing. Somewhere between brilliant IR and real live room. This is the closest I've ever heard to the real deal:)

Can't Understand the Bad Reviews
I put off getting this due to the bad reviews, but as soon as I got the demo, I knew I had to have it. In simple terms, if you have a poor sounding room, but can get it as dry as humanly possible, this plug-in can then add the quality and space you'd have had to pay mega bucks for in the past. It's not really a reveb... it's a room (or 2), but you can have almost total control over the mics within that room. It's added detail in a convolution reverb that I've always dreamed of! If only you had this much control in every altiverb patch! It is quite resource heavy though, but it's worth it.

When I first saw this, I thought wow, then I watched someone demo it on youtube, and he wasn't excited so I got less so. I demoed it and for a long time it did nothing for me, but of course I had no idea what I was doing, until i randomly put it on master and ....wow everything changed. Now every track I do gets this, just to see if there is magic to be had.
So this gets me thinking. Imagine you're a rebellous young f.. all rules kind of a band, and you have your perfect crispy clean digital dead sound recording to mold. You load this plugin and you can get it to sound like you're standing in your parents crappy sounding garage, or anywhere really. And this gets to be your breakthrough signature sound. But not for long so don't tell anyone.

Ocean Way is one of My favorite new plug ins, as the studio is as well.. definitely one of my go to whether I'm adding life to my drum mixes on records or adding color and beauty to a orchestral arrangement this plug in is a MUST HAVE in your arsenal!!

Very Very Nice Plug-in
I tried the demo version that shipped with the UAD-2 Satellite Duo and used my $50 voucher to buy the plugin within a few hours. I used it on a track I was struggling with which just did not have the right feel. I applied it to the drums, guitar and vocal separately and along with an aural exciter from another supplier :) the thing just took off. Really settled into a nice grove.

Depth into your sounds
I really like this plugin! Because: it makes my sounds feel like they were recorded in a nice studio, it helps me get that 3D style of mix putting some sounds in the back some in the mid and front, you can also put it in the master channel and blend your mix with the wet and dry knob just to get that special depth, also I like that it doesn't have those annoying ringing highs in the reverb, it's a nice one to get!

None better
There is no better reverb or convolution plugin out there. I wouldn't even call this a reverb plugin because it is so much more than that. It has so much capability and the re-mic function is astounding. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

Excellent sound
Love this room. Having a small bedroom for my studio you can imagine what its like to step into a world class room for my projects. Just loading up old projects and feeling the instant upgrade in reverb or mic placement. Unreal. Cool.

The best "room" i ever bought
From the first moment i started to tweak sliders and buttons, i knew i made a good investment in my studio/production setup.
As a reverb on a bus you can use it in a verry subtile way, and it all sounds and feels amazingly natural. In "Remic" mode this plug-in is a "killer", it changes the sound of your instrument in a verry drastic way. Sometimes you will frown and skip the idea right away, but sometimes...!!! You will be blown away and realize that this is exactly the atmosphere and vibe your song or mix needs. Verry inspirational plug-in.
Me likes a lot. So, 5 stars it is.

Natural As The Real Thing
Again coming from Waves plugs, this is the closest thing to the real thing. I keep finding myself trying to make it sound like what I'm used to, but then I realize I have to almost deprogram myself. You won't be dissappointed.

A Real Room, not just another Reverb
The Ocean Way Studios plug-in is a great piece of software. The plug-in provides a sound you would expect from micing up a beautifully treated room, not from you plug-in. It sure is not just another reverb plug-in in the list, it feels like an actual room you can position your instruments in. Functionality and usability of the software are outstanding and the sound is as real as it gets. The only downside is the massive processing power it needs. At 24/96 you only get one instance per DSP. For serious mixing applications you should be equipped with an OCTO card at least.

I work in my small home studio in France, and now i can record my drums in L.A without take a plane.
Give warm and air to my drums, my virtual strings and horns and vocals.
The only negative thing is it use a lot of DSP.
