2-Bus awesomeness or lo-fi vibe on tracks
This plugin takes up some Sharc but it sounds great. The busted tape setting is so mangled and awesome. Jumping through the mastering settings as a jumping point for mixbus processing is fun. I will say though that on some settings, probably due to crossover, the mixes can sound a bit more condensed and less open. Overall though I love it. I'd say it works about half the time on the mixbus with little effort, and it's always cool as a stem or track mangler. That you can utilize variable EQ options really sets it above other tape plugins for me.
I have the Studer too, and more often reach for this. Tho tbf I reach for oxide the most bc it's least dsp heavy and simplest/fastest to use for tracks where I just want a tape saturation effect and not any mangling.

Helps add thickness to synths

Analog Sound
Being completely honest, I have never worked on real analog tape, but this plugin brings some analog punch (to my ears) especially on the low end. Try it on individual tracks!!

Studer A800 - As real as it gets
Oh man....that is REALLY good. It brings drums home very fast with way less compression.

Warmth, improved treble clarity and natural compression. Especially good at adding musical fairy dust to sampled drums.

A standout in a saturated market
Saturation plugins are plentiful in the world of audio software; every company offers at least one type. How do you pick the right one? The Studer A800 is great for saturation, and more. The A800 plugin allows you to dial in your saturation to suite your tastes, from tape types, motor speeds and bias calibration, to being able to EQ the different tape head modes. A great plugin and definitely work checking out.

I was not able to download the plugin. Waste of my money. The sad part is I can’t talk with everyone to get this resolved. I have to look through 100 of videos with no resolution. This is sad business!
