Avalon is a must...
Just when I thought I've got my vocal chain already set, then this plugin came and...
Just like a real unit, this fellow gives you a special juice, character and great sounding signal for any material that runs thru it. I usually use it as my first plugin in chain like I would normally do it in a hardware setup scenario. I don't own any of the Apollo interfaces (yet) but I'm sure that with its Unison technology, you can use it when recording into you daw and the result would be identical to what and actual hardware unit would gave you. I think it's one of those must have plugins.

I somewhat always knew about the Avalon, but some ppl will try to downplay the Avalon and say everyone uses it, or go HD, etc... But being on a budget this was perfect, the sound of this feels like I just gave myself a record deal lol

This is a great plugin. I picked this up having waited til it went on sale. Now I have access to a really famous piece of kit and understand just why everyone raves about it.

Pretty damn good
Im a 27 year recording engineer and producer , having worked in many a studios over my career I can say this is almost as transparent as the real thing. It's a dsp hog , can use but maybe three or four additional plugins on a solo with virtuals on.

Sinceramente años esperando tener estos Tubos y a este valor, movil y que suene al Cristal que quería... Hands down, the best addition I have ever made to my UAD platform. I have just starting working with it, and some of the vocal presets out of the box sound fantastic and inspiring. Just plug it in on your initial vocal and guitar passes, and you will love what you hear. An amazing combination of warm, round analog tube sound and a delicate, balanced optical compression.

I love this plug in... I use it on all vocals...
It sounds just like the hardware without the mud... No tubes to ever be changed is a blessing. I’ve been waiting for someone to create this plugin since 2004 and it’s now 2020 so It took 16 years to get this gift. I love UAD...

My hardware preamp has decided to give me grief after 10-years of being plugged into to record all my audio needs: vocals, guitars, mandolin, percussion and so on. After getting it fixed, it recently broke again. Out of sheer frustration, I came here and bought the Avalon VT-737 Tube Channel Strip. At first, I was kicking myself in the head for having just bought a plugin of a preamp instead of having another attempt at fixing the hardware. I bit the bullet and sat down with the plugin, determined to make it mine and having it work for me. Within minutes of working out how to collaborate the preamp ,EQ and compression, every track I applied it to came to life in such a way where it was not only sounding musical and organic, but also had an attitude and a voice of its own that stood strongly in the mix. This thing is fantastic! Now, as for my hardware preamp, I will try to get it fixed again, but in case the repairs fail, I will have a very good backup.

After owning and using two 737s for 19 years almost every day, I can now bring them anywhere without having to pay shipping fees. Vocals and acoustic instruments sparkle with drive with most any mics through this plugin-thank you UA

I’m not too familiar with this one, but so far it’s improved the sound quality of my guitar recording for the better

A must have for Vocals ++
I have owned the 737 since it was first introduced and have used it on nearly every recording i have ever done, so i know this unit intimately. I have found that every detail is in this plugin as i have used it in exactly the same manner i use my hardware units. Its incredible to be able to have this as a plug in for after the fact treatment of tracks..... its a MUST HAVE for me! Kill on bass & AC guitars too!
