Like all signal processors via hardware or software it depends solely on the goal of the mixing engineer. This has a place in my toolbox.

Plug in che fa il suo lavoro,l’unica pecca come tutti i plug in uad è il costo un po’ esagerato nella sfera totale di plug in per audio.
Si acquisterebbe molto di più se i prezzi fossero contenuti.

It is not blatant like S - 1 of Waves, but I thought that it can spread very elegantly when you want to get a little sense of wide stereo. Just passing this plug-in I felt the sound a little glossy. but Just me?

Stereo Image sounds great
Well, that's the UAD tool that I never knew I need, now that I have tried in my mixes I realize that I cant drop it anymore, that's a marvellous tool that transform your track in a stereo wider than no other plugin can do. I am very pleasant of using it and works great on mono tracks like vocals, perc, and so many other instruments, just test and see what happens. Thanks to Bob Cats and UAD.

très utile pour les mastering maison
je ne prétends faire le travail d'un véritable ingénieur de mastering dans un studio digne de ce nom, mais chez moi ça le fait parfaitement pour finaliser divers projets, avec une profondeur et une largeur de son que j'obtenais difficilement jusqu'ici !

Very specific application, but very useful
I had some audio restoration work to do... so I was excited to use this on some overly-roomy dialog to dry it up a bit, and I'll say this: It's definitely doing the work... but it's very subtle, even at the more extreme ends of the dial. So my expectations were a little bit out of line with what it really does... but it's definitely a good plug-in for changing the room-character of recorded material. I like it quite a bit for what it can do to stereo drums / overheads... Also, on a badly recorded chamber orchestra...

Util a la hora de cerrar las mezclas o masterizar. Permite la manipulacion del estereo, rescata perdidas en el proceso de compresion, abre el estereo y deja retocar frecuencias.

Pretty Great
As we all know Bo Katz is the audio guru of mastering and he literally wrote the book on it! This is a great tool for something that is way too close mic'd to begin with. If you want to add some air around it this is the tool that you need -also it can add at lot of stereo i if you need it

Great on individual sounds or busses
Compared to other width plugins it's better sounding for sure.
Best for upper harmonic material i.e. Synths/pads/strings
I use only one instance in a mix usually that needs that extra width to poke out a bit.
Best for mix purposes not mastering.

Too subtle to care
I demo'd this with a worse case scenario which was probably a bad test. In most situations, this plugin will never be used. I just like specialty...but even in the worse case scenario, the change it too subtle to notice. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are looking specifically for that subtle change.

Nice and useful plug in
I havent had much time to try it as much as I like. But it makes music sounds different, richer and colorful giving it a different presencié. I uses it in master track but I think Is perfect to separate frequencies in a bass and drum bus or in synth and vocal tracks to spread stereo field. Nice.
