Plug In vs Hardware Differences
I own the hardware version and use it regularly on my 2 bus. I recently tried the plug vs my hardware piece and was pleasantly surprised, however there were some differences. First, the level for the same settings was different, with the plug in being 2 clicks louder. (This could be due to the calibration of my converters.) Once I reduced the plug in's output, I could listen closely and found that the hardware is a bit sweeter in the high end, while the plug is slightly trashy sounding. It's not extreme, and I may end up buying the plug so I can work away from the hardware piece, but they do not sound the same. I don't know if this is intentional or simply a limitation of the tech.

One of a kind
It really has it's sound... It's not the piece you through on anything and everywhere. But wow... it sound so good when you want it!

Not as good as the actual but pretty close
Close to the original abbey road design...Does work well on many mix concepts especially drum parallel compression. Will add color to your buss mix as well. Good presets to play around with, not much tweaking needed. Do demo it on individual tracks and especially drums and see if you get the color you need.

Real sounding and universal!
Used it on several mixes and styles and does the job very wel! Sometimes is only put in on the bus is just enough... ;) Or if you want to colour en give your mix a specific sound, this thing has it!

this Chandler has character
I have yet to spent too much time getting to know this plug but so far I really do love the character of this plugin. It has a somewhat limited range of use and is great for some things and not so on others, but that is just about any plugin. One of my favourites at the moment on drum buses and also get's use on various other instruments on both individual tracks and bus work.

GUITARS!
Wow. This is great on guitars. I have not had it long enough to use it on many sources, but it is stunning on guitars. I would often use the hardware for this application as well.

Good, but
I don't feel right giving this wonderful plug in 5 stars.
It works well, I just don't love it. I won't compare it to the 'source' as it's been waaaay too long since I have used one.

Color and character!
Great comp on busses and individual tracks. Works amazing with slow attack and fast or medium release in conjuction with side-chain. Thd mode its a nice addition too.
