UA Wins MIPA and KEYS Leser-Award at Musikmesse 2011
Not only does Frankfurt Musikmesse host the biggest smorgasbord of audio gear, video equipment, and bratwurst on the planet, it’s also where the international press recognizes the best musical instruments and audio equipment of 2010/2011. This year, Universal Audio was honored to receive the Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) for the UAD-2 Satellite, deemed best Audio Hardware Processor by 100 magazines from around the world.
The MIPA awards were presented to the winners at a ceremony and party held during Musikmesse show on Thursday, April 7th, 2011. More than 300 international representatives of manufacturers and distributors attended the 12th Annual MIPA awards show, including guests from the USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Poland, Great Britain, Italy, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
The UAD-2 Satellite was also recognized with the KEYS Leser-Award for the “Bestes Studiotool”. The award was presented at the PPVMEDIEN Leser-Awards Ceremony at the Maritim Hotel, adjacent to the fairgrounds in downtown Frankfurt.
Many thanks to the press and our valued UAD-2 customers for all your support!
